The Gates Mills Garden Club won the
SILVER TROPHY and MOST BEAUTIFUL FLOAT!
Special thanks to our Float Chair, Gail Palmer
and her float committee:
The Gates Mills Garden Club is participating in the Garden Club of Ohio's outreach program to help feed the needy in Ohio. We will be in competition with other garden clubs in Ohio to see who can contribute the most pounds of food to their community food pantry. Beginning September 1st, a plastic bin will be placed inside the Cottage porch to collect non-perishable food items such as canned vegetables, beans, low-sodium soups, peanut butter, canned tuna, pasta and brown rice, etc. Each month we will encourage our members to donate to this worthy cause to help those less fortunate.
