2025 in BLOOM

Summer has steamrolled its way in, and our gardens flourish while the weeds remind us they are alive and loving the sunshine too! After a busy and productive spring, we look forward to a more languid pace after the Fourth of July. The Independence Day parade theme is Bridging Our Past to the Future, and we will roll out all of our garden club creativity to interpret this theme when we build our float the first three days in July. Please gather family and friends for our beloved hometown celebration at 11 am on July 4.

It’s a wonderful time to stroll through gardens and view the spectacle of summer perennials and pollinators. The Northern Ohio Perennials Society got wind of our lovely gardens and our garden club will be part of their garden tour on Sunday, July 20 between 2 and 3 pm. There is an open invitation to all of our members to help maintain our gardens every Monday at 9:30 am for an hour.

Relax, take in the sights, sounds and scents of nature, and as always, happy gardening!
