2026 in BLOOMAh, the joys of summer after a busy and productive spring! The Garden Tour was a wonderful success, and we are grateful to the 100+ garden club members who made it happen, generous homeowners who opened their gorgeous gardens to us, and the community for coming out to support us!
This year marks the 200th anniversary of the founding of Gates Mills. The Independence Day parade promises to be a grand affair. Please gather family and friends for our beloved hometown celebration at 11 am on July 4, and cheer on the Garden Club float! We look forward to a more languid pace after the Fourth of July. We have field trips to two flower farms this summer with a chance to cut our own bouquets and learn about the allure of lavender and the delights of dahlias. It’s a wonderful time to stroll through gardens and view the spectacle of summer perennials and pollinators. Relax, take in the sights, sounds and scents of nature, and as always, happy gardening!
